• If your heater is not heating enough: we can check the thermostat to see if it is set properly or needs replacing; make sure sure all of the room registers are open; and replace dirty filters.
• If your furnace does not heat at all: One Call will check the thermostat for proper function and settings; check for tripped circuit breakers and look for blown fuses that need to be replaced; check the motor to make sure it has not overheated; and with a gas furnace, make sure the pilot light is lit, that the thermocouple is not loose or faulty, and that the flame is properly set; then make sure the gas valve is open.
• If the furnace is running, but it is not blowing air, the blower motor may need help: One Call will check for belts that need replacing, and service fans and fan motors.
• If your blower will not stop: One Call will first adjust the limit switch and check if more needs to be done to replace old or worn out parts.
• If the blower is making noise, the fan may be slipping: One Call can align and replace belts, service bearings, and replace parts as needed to eliminate the noise and put your heating unit back in good working order.
• All heating units and furnaces need regular maintenance: One Call will slide out the heating unit, vacuum out the area around and behind the unit, clean the fan blades, oil the motor, and generally keep your heating system running well with a minimum of repair costs and down-time.
